Free Hugs

This quarter i went to do free hugs in boston. I went by myself this time and it was a very different feel. I went to a bunch of different places. First i went to my uncles apartment at the belvedere and i barely got any he lives in the prudential and i stood outside coldstone and no one really acknowledged me. I held a sign and people just looked at me funny. I spent probably an hour there and only got about 30 hugs. The peole who hugged me were all going into coldstone which probably had something to do with it. I think people who were going to get ice cream were more likely to give me a hug. After that i went outside pinkberry to see how people would react there. People who work at pinkberry are weirdly happy all the time. They kinda seem like robots. So i went to pinkberry and people gave me more hugs i probabaly stayed there for about an hour and a half. I got around 100 hugs. People were much more likely to give me hugs outside pinkberry than coldstone. I was a little more psyched. The people who gave me hugs were mostly girls. I feel like more girls go to pinkberry than guys. The only guys who gave me hugs were ones who were with their boyfriends. After doing 2 and a half hours of hugs i went to newbury street. I stood outside jp licks and and an old homeless man came over to me. I was really scared. I gave him a hug and he asked me what i was doing it for. I told him about our soc class and he thought it was great. He kept asking me all these questions and i was trying to figure out a way to avoid him. I eventually got away and moved to a different part of newbury. I went outside the hempest and that was hilarious i got a hug from pretty much everyone that was walking inside. They all looked like pot heads and smelled like weed. They all asked me why i was giving free hugs and i told them why. They thought it was a great idea and said they were going to do it too. I thought it was a good place but i only had one more hour left so i went to sugar daddies. Not as many people walked by because its not in as much as a prime position. I did get a hug from everyone who walked by. When I was coming back from boston I took the train home. I decided to do free hugs on the train to see how that would go. I got a lot of weird looks but some hugs. Some people looked at me like I was insane. There were also a lot of scary looking people on the train so I decided it probably wasn’t the best idea.
